Feb 5: Denver – eden bar and cuisine lounge @ 1PM
3090 Downing St
Denver, CO 80205

Author Mark Brennan Rosenberg will be at eden in Denver on February 5th as part of a 40-city book tour for his critically acclaimed book of essays Blackouts and Breakdowns. His tour ends in New York with the release of his second book Eating My Feelings in April. Because Blackouts and Breakdowns is unlike any other book, this book tour will be unlike any other. Instead of hosting readings at chain bookstores, Rosenberg is targeting hotspots in each town he goes to in order to get the entire community involved and give back in each city he goes to… thus the reason for stopping at eden.

Blackouts and Breakdowns is a no-holds barred look into the life of a twenty-something very gay, very fabulous, very alcoholic young man. Mark tells his hysterical tale by giving the reader 11 short stories ranging from teenagers stealing nativity scenes off of stranger’s lawns to attempting to pick up a deaf guy in a bar by pretending to know sign language. Brutally honest and funny, the book sends a message of hope for young people battling addiction. In the end, Rosenberg emerges from being a fall-down drunk to being a true hero for all people who have come out of the dark and into a life of sobriety and happiness. Blackouts and Breakdowns is available at www.blackoutandbreakdowns.com and Barnes & Noble stores.
